Van livery "reduces insurance premiums"

Investing in the application of a painted livery could save drivers money on their van insurance, it has been claimed.
A branded van has less appeal to thieves and, if stolen, is easier to identify in the case of an accident, says QuoteAVan.co.uk.
Insurance premiums could be reduced if owners apply slogans or logos to the sides of their vehicles, indicating that the van belongs to an approved trade organisation.
"QuoteAVan recognises that van owners and drivers have specific needs," said Spencer Street, general manager of QuoteAVan.co.uk.
"It is for this reason that we have established a dedicated site to meet their requirements and offer the best possible value for money."
Other ways of deterring thieves and lowering van insurance premiums included adding a "How Well Do I Drive?" sticker to the rear of the van. This gives other motorists the opportunity to register any complaints about reckless driving likely to occur if the vehicle is stolen.
