Just Vans wins school goods contract
Distribution company Just Vans has landed a contract to deliver goods to schools in the Frome area.
The company has taken on an extra ten members of staff and invested in six new lorries to add to their existing fleet of 26, so will no doubt be reviewing their van insurance policy.
Enjoying year-on-year growth of around 50 per cent, the contract is just one of a number recently secured by the company, which has also invested £1.2 million in the purchase of a 25,000 square foot warehouse.
Principal of Just Vans, Andy Mead, told Transport News Network: "We had a fantastic year in 2005 and we are looking to repeat and build upon this success over the next 12 months."
He added: "We have increased our workforce and vehicle fleet to ensure that we continue to maintain our reputation for excellent customer service."
Just Vans has also recently launched a new express delivery service for small consignments of goods to mainland Europe. The firm hopes to now be able to distribute small consignments to the European market more quickly and cost effectively.
