Maestro Suzuki announces motocross team
The Maestro Suzuki professional motocross race team has announced its rider line-up for the 2006 racing season.
The team is due to compete in the AMA Lites West in the Amp'd Mobile AMA Supercross Series as well as in the AMA Motocross class in the AMA Toyota Motocross Championships.
Houston's Jeff Dement – now commencing his sixteenth season on the racing circuit - will lead the Suzuki team, which also includes young riders Shaun Skinner, Vernon McKiddie and former British amateur champion Adam Chatfield.
"We have a great group of riders that should compliment each other very well," said Edwards Racing owner, Jeff Edwards.
"I think we exceeded everyone's expectations a year ago, grabbing a podium and a top-ten finish in just our first year of racing. We are looking to build on what we were able to do last year and move this program forward for the future."
