Throughout our thirty-plus year history, Express Insurance has used it’s extensive experience and insurance knowledge to establish itself as one of the largest independent insurance intermediaries in the country. Based in Birmingham, Express Insurance has grown into one of the most reputable insurance intermediaries in the UK. A feat that was recognised by Kwik-Fit Insurance Services based in Glasgow, Scotland, and in June 2007 Kwik-Fit successfully acquired Express Insurance Services Limited.

The Financial Services Authority
Express Insurance Services Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA), the independent watchdog that regulates financial services. Our FSA Register number is 311354. Our permitted business is advising, arranging, dealing as an agent and assisting in the administration and performance of general insurance contracts. The FSA require us to provide this information and you should use it to decide if our services are right for you.
Our Service
Our role is to assess your insurance needs and offer a suitable policy. Where we believe it is beneficial to make recommendations or offer advice during this process, we will confirm our position in writing. We select motor and household insurance products from a range of insurers. We select travel insurance from a limited number of insurers.
Payment for our Service
A Policy Arrangement Fee of up to £100 applies to new policies. This will be communicated to you at the time of the quotation and will be separated from the premium and any taxes payable. The premium shown overleaf will include any fee.
Should you decide to take out a policy with us, any charges for the ongoing administration of your policy will be communicated to you at this time.
What to do if you have a complaint
We aim to provide a high level of customer service at all times. If, however, you are not satisfied, you should contact our Sales Support Dept on 0121 386 7710 who will advise how to proceed.
If you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Are we covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)?
We are covered by the FSCS. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim.
Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £2000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim, without any upper limit.
