Nissan launches NV200 Vanette in Japan

People looking for cheap van insurance have learned that Nissan's all-new vehicle will be available around the world later this year following its launch in Japan tomorrow (May 21st).

The NV200 Vanette is a light-duty compact van suitable for both commercial and private use, combining an impressive cargo space with a compact overall size.

Its environmental credentials are improved by a 1.6-litre HR16DE gasoline engine, which allows the model to qualify for tax breaks under the government's preferential tax scheme for low-emission vehicles implemented in April.

The Vanette's engine incorporates variable valve timing which combines with an expanded lock-up operation range of the four-speed automatic transmission, enabling the vehicle to deliver best-in-class fuel economy of 14.0 km/litre.

Following its debut at the Barcelona International Motorshow, Nissan customers have been told that the NV200 van and combi version will be available to buy in Europe from October 2009. ADNFCR-1602-ID-19178625-ADNFCR
