Mitsubishi launches L200 variant

Mitsubishi has announced the launch of the latest version of its L200 pick up truck, which offers drivers more load length and power, people looking for cheap van insurance have been told.

Running alongside the standard model, The L200 Long Bed features an 18cm extension to its load bed without compromising on passenger cabin space, while carrying volume is also increased by a higher cargo area at the rear.

The high-series Long Bed variant is also powered by a 176bhp engine, making it the most powerful vehicle in the pick-up segment – outrunning the Nissan Navara Outlaw 2.5 DCI, which comes in second at 171bhp.

Due to limited factory supply, the Long Bed variant will initially only be available in Double Cab 4Work, 4Life and high-series Warrior and Animal variants.

The L200 was recently crowned top truck at the Van Fleet World Honours, showing the model remains a firm favourite with journalists and the public alike. ADNFCR-1602-ID-19188065-ADNFCR
