Iveco Eurocargos 'great models for training'

1st May 2009

Four new Iveco Eurocargos are on their way to join a fleet of similar vehicles at Sterling Training, which provides training for LGV drivers, in news of interest to cheap van insurance customers.

The investment is a response to a change in the law, which now says training providers must be able to operate vehicles with at least eight gears and ensure the total weight of their fleet is a minimum of 12 tonnes.

Danny Allso, operations director at Sterling Training, says as one of the most popular trucks in the UK, the Eurocargo is an ideal vehicle for learner drivers.

"Our vehicles operate across various locations nationwide, and the number of Iveco outlets means we are never far from a franchised service workshop when the vehicle is ready for its routine service," he added.

In related news, Iveco's Strator model is expected to be one of the biggest draws to this weekend's Truckfest in Peterborough.ADNFCR-1602-ID-19150293-ADNFCR
