Hiace helps van insurance customers keep their cool

29th May 2009

People looking for cheap van insurance may be able to stay cool this summer after news that the 2009 Toyota Hiace now comes with air conditioning as standard.

The versatile panel van also boasts an improved interior, with more comfortable seats, new upholstery and door trim as well as a new front grille, wheel trims and a black metallic pain option.

Strategic use of sound-absorbing material throughout the vehicle also significantly reduces noise, vibration and harshness, while the window glass has been treated to reduce UV glare.

The Hiace range offers a choice of vehicle options to cater for a variety of customers, including short and long wheelbases, a choice of rear tailgate or twin rear doors and a 2.5-litre D-4D common rail diesel engine with two different outputs.

It follows the UK release this month of Toyota's Urban Cruiser, a smaller, sleeker counterpart to the Japanese manufacturer's popular Land Cruiser model.ADNFCR-1602-ID-19192827-ADNFCR
