Paul Edmondson makes his Enduro mark

Paul Edmondson put in an impressive performance at the Welsh two-day Enduro which ended in a win for the Suzuki rider.

Three special tests on the first day placed the RMZ250 rider in second place overall in the event and second place in the E2 class.

A closely-fought battle between Edmondson and Si Wakeley on the final test saw the Suzuki star claw back over 10 seconds on the race leader.

However, the event's fortunes changed when a torrential downpour began on day two.

Speaking after the race, Edmondson commented: "That downpour really made hard work of things and although I rode really well in the wet, I couldn't match the dry times posted by the two leaders."

Suzuki fans were also treated to a stellar performance from Relentless rider Scott Columb at the weekend, who stormed to third place overall in the fourth round of the MMMX British Open Championship at the Blaxhall track in Suffolk.
