Motorbike racers line up for Goodwood Festival of Speed

Motorcycle insurance customers will be able to witness first-hand the skills of some of the world's best bikers at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed.

World champions John Surtees, Phil Read, Mick Doohan, Max Biaggi and Troy Corser will all be putting in an appearance at the event, which takes place between July 3rd and 5th.

This year's theme is True Grit - Epic Feats of Endurance so the event will recognise the drive and determination of motorsport heroes over the years.

Among those being celebrated is five-time 500cc world champion Mick Doohan, who returned to motorbike racing in 1992 despite not being able to fully use his right leg.

Up-coming 125cc stars Scott Redding, Danny Webb and Bradley Smith will also be present at the festival, alongside Cal Crutchlow and Leon Haslam.

Motorcycle insurance customers will be able to get a look at a selection of machines from motorbiking history, from current World Superbike entries to Endurance Racing bikes. ADNFCR-1602-ID-19219538-ADNFCR
