Consumers could win a Yamaha YZF-R1

Motorcycle enthusiasts keen to get hold of the new Yamaha YZF-R1 will soon get the opportunity to see the bike for themselves at specified Yamaha dealers.

Participating Yamaha dealers will be displaying the Supersport R1 on February 27th, and visitors will get the chance to enter a competition to win a "unique motorcycle that is set to re-write the Supersport record books".

To be eligible, consumers need to visit Yamaha's website at Yamaha-motor.co.uk/r1_competition before midday on February 27th and answer a quiz.

All correct entries will then be put into a hat and a name chosen at random. The winner's name will be read out at a participating dealership at 8pm on the night of February 27th.

There will also be a runner up prize of a VIP MotoGP weekend trip to attend the Catalunya MotoGP on June 13th and 14th.

Anyone purchasing a new bike can get cheap motorbike insurance by shopping around for the best deals.
