Jaguar celebrating 60 years of XK models

Jaguar will be celebrating 60 year's of the iconic XK nameplate with a collection of the illustrious models appearing at Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend.

Car enthusiasts will get the chance to see the recently introduced XKR-S, the historic NUB and LWK, the XK 140 and the Le Mans winning long nose D-type.

The XKR-S - which is Jaguar's fastest ever production XK, capable of reaching 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 174 miles per hour - will appear in the Goodwood super-car run throughout the weekend.

Geoff Cousins, UK managing director of Jaguar Cars, said: "Goodwood is inimitably British and I believe the ideal location for Jaguar to begin celebrating 60 years of the stunning XK sports car.

"We are very proud to be showcasing our exciting new model – the XKR-S."
