BMW unveil new 7-series

BMW have launched the new fifth generation seven series, which includes the world’s most advanced Night Vision system in a production car.

The BMW 730d will become available from November and will be the most economical seven series ever - with its 3.0-litre straight-six cylinder diesel engine emitting 192 grams of CO2 per Kilometre.

Car insurance customers will be pleased to hear that the new BMW 730d will also incorporate various new safety devices aimed at increasing driver awareness - which include side view camera systems, park distance control technology and night vision with a pedestrian recognition system.

The luxury car has a top speed of 153 miles per hour and can accelerate form 0 to 60 in 7.2 seconds - prices are set to be announced in due course.

BMW describe the car as setting "a new benchmark in automotive luxury, technical innovation and class-leading driving dynamics", while the German manufacturer also emphasised the "emissions reducing and fuel saving technology".

BMW also announced today (July 7th) that it suffered its worst sales month this year in June, when deliveries to customers fell 2.8 per cent. ADNFCR-1602-ID-18671729-ADNFCR
