World's first zero emission Range Rover unveiled
31st July 2008
The world's first zero emission electric Range Rover will be available to members of a supercar sharing club.
Ecurie25 has reached an exclusive agreement with Liberty electric cars, which will enable customers with an annual membership to the club exclusive access to the environmentally friendly luxury 4x4.
The Liberty electric Range Rover will be free of tax, congestion and parking charges and has a driving range of 200 miles.
Barry Shrier, chief executive of Liberty Electric Cars, said: "We are delighted that ecurie25 has decided to make the Liberty electric Range Rover available to its members.
"ecurie25 is distinct in that it actively encourages its members to divide their driving time between the exotic and the environmentally-friendly."
In exchange for an annual membership paid to ecuire25, car insurance customers can gain access to the club's collection of cars for between 30 to 60 days a year.
The club's most exclusive cars include the Ferrari F430, Lamborghini Gallardo and Aston Martin DB9.
