Peugeot unveils new 407

Peugeot has announced that its new 407 will go on sale in September, with a revised specification and a number of exterior and interior enhancements.
The 407 range, which includes Saloon, SW and Coupe styles, has a more distinctive front-end with the grill having undergone a complete redesign.
In anticipation of the environmental concerns of many of its customers, the new 407 will have an updated 2.0 litre HDi engine, with a six speed manual gearbox that has a fuel consumption of 49.5 mpg and reduced carbon dioxide emissions of 150g/km.
The French car manufacturer has also designed a new 2.0 litre Bioflex engine, which maximises the eco-benefits of the car by operating on the ethanol based fuel, E85.
In addition, the Peugeot 407 features as standard 16 inch alloy wheels; smartnav satellite navigation system; and Bluetooth hands-free telephone equipment.
Prices now start at £17,295 for the HDi 110 S saloon.
