Nissan extends trade-in deal

1st July 2009

People looking for cheap car insurance could save even more money after Nissan extended its Buy British trade-in deal for another three months.

Originally available until June 30th, the deal allows provides car insurance customers with a £2,000 minimum trade-in against any of its Sunderland-built models aged between eight and ten years old.

A significant boost in sales and strong interest in the deal has encouraged the manufacturer to extend the offer, according to Paul Wilcox, managing director of Nissan UK.

He commented: "Our £2,000 minimum Trade-in provides what the government's scrappage scheme fell short of offering: a real incentive to buy a British-built car and a guaranteed trade-in value for owners of eight, nine and ten-year-old cars."

Buyers can choose from a diverse range of models, including any new Micra, Note, Qashqai or Qashqai+2.

Nissan's Qashqai was recently recognised by the car-buying public after it ranked third in the JD Power Vehicle Owners Satisfaction Study.ADNFCR-1602-ID-19244950-ADNFCR
