Volkswagen unveils national servicing plans

Van insurance customers would be pleased to find out that the Volkswagen is taking extra measures to standardise servicing prices across all its Van Centres around the country.

The move is part of the company's efforts to counter the popular belief that it is exorbitantly costly to have vans serviced and repaired at the brand's flagship centres.

Customers will have the option of choosing between either an interim or a full service scheme at the stations.

Excluding VAT, a Caddy could undergo a full-blown service at the stations for £199, while an interim service check would cost only £89.

The other vehicles that can take advantage of professional Volkswagen technicians carrying out the service procedure are the Transporter T4 and T5, LT and the Crafter.

Stephen Bateson, head of aftersales and customer service, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, said: "Volkswagen Van Centres offer a premium customer experience and with our initiatives to reduce servicing costs have to be the best places to get your Volkswagen van serviced."
