Site of the Week - The London Biker
20 February 2012

The London Biker
is all about one man, Matthew Cashmore, who is interested in all
things related to bikes, technology, travelling and, on top of
that, cooking.
This is an adventure blog, a way for someone to share what they
love doing with people back home who may have their own dreams of
heading out on the open roads of Europe one day but have not yet
got around to doing so.
The blog owner has travelled widely on his bike, and has
detailed a number of trips including ones to Russia, Morocco,
Australia, Budapest and the USA. At the time of writing he is
currently planning a trip to the Black Sea for yet another
adventure.

He posts about once or twice a month on a number of topics,
including the different routes he is planning, bike insurance,
descriptions of his destinations and stories from his travels. He
also posts practical tips on things such as changing a tyre on the
road.
Aside from his blog, he also has a number of websites which go
into more details about his specific trips. For example, there is
one called JourneyToMorocco.com which is all about his time in
Morocco.
You can also connect with him via LinkedIn, Twitter, Flickr
and YouTube, where he has posted a number of cooking videos, plus
reviews of bikes and gear, and details of his foreign trips.
And on top of all this, he also raises money for charity through
his trips, which is a great reason to support him in his
adventures.
Overall, this is a simple but inspiring blog that really makes
you want to get out and plan your own motorcycle adventures across
Europe and further afield. He is an inspiration because he shows
exactly how it can be done if you want to do the same yourself.
If you like the idea of the great open road, exploring new
territories and the incomparable freedom of being on your bike,
this is a great blog to follow.
