WSB Round Ten - Silverstone Qualifying Day 2

Shakey and Checa both on the 3rd row at
Silverstone
The two Althea Ducati Racing team riders; Shakey Byrne and Carlos
Checa, will start their races tomorrow from the third row of the
new-layout English circuit of Silverstone, with the two riders
having recorded ninth and tenth fastest times respectively.
Shane Byrne was very satisfied with his result today, despite
just missing out a top eight finish.
After the days qualification sessions, Shakey said: "I am
really happy because after Brno I have finally understood the
Superpole. And to have taken my best Superpole result yet here at
my home track is of course great news. The team's has done a really
good job and tomorrow I will do my best to run two great
races."
Shakeys Althea Ducati team mate, Checa closed the second
Superpole phase with the tenth fastest time, although he just
missed out on a place in the final phase by 41 thousandths of a
second.
Both will now be looking forward to race day tomorrow, and will
be hoping for a succesful weekend out on track.
