Are the days of the traditional White Van Man numbered?

New techology may put pay to 'White van Man' as we know
him
A new technology has stepped in to end the notorious White Van
Man's reign on British roads. A combination of tracking and
diagnostic technologies has resulted in the GeoManager DNA
Driver.
"The DNA Driver uses diagnostics to ensure workforces are
driving correctly and helps save companies money by running teams
more efficiently" says Andrew Yeoman, managing director of the
company that created this new 'black box' technology.
This environmentally friendly 'black box' helps to increase
delivery by helping managers to pinpoint a vehicles whereabouts.
Based on a vehicles present location, time and traffic efficient
routes can be reset. While this technology increases routing
efficiencies, it also allows company managers to keep an eye on
their white van drivers. The DNA Driver monitors every aspect of an
employee's actions behind the wheel. Every acceleration and broken
speed limit is recorded and reported on.
This information is constantly measured and transmitted,
enabling fleet owners to conduct their own assessments based on
data provided by the black box. Information is also continuously
sent between drivers and managers. The technology is proving itself
as more than just an onboard speed camera that helps fleet owners
ensure their drivers observe the rules of the road. It's also
helping to reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
With 30 000 vehicles already using the GeoManager system on
British roads, growing adoption by white vans owners can only serve
to increase road safety. Get the most out of your White Van fleet;
