2 June 2009

After a superb display of riding at Snetterton last time out the
R&G Racing Suzuki GSX-R Trophy heads on to Cadwell Park for
round 3 of the championship on 6th and 7th June.
Ross Connolly is racing away out in front of the rest of the
field and currently sits 19 points ahead of second placed rider
Mark Cheetham, his closest rival in the competition.
Connolly, a 27 year old Sales manager from Blackpool, has taken
3 wins out of a possible four and will looking for glory again at
the Cadwell Park circuit in Lincolnshire.
We're only 2 rounds in and Connolly holds a steady lead already,
ahead of Cheetham, Ross Richards, and Chris Hawkes
respectively.
The 2 front running new comers have shocked experienced
championship riders Hawkes and Richards with their pace and late
breaking which has left Richards in 3rd and Hawkes in 4th, and off
the pace.
Cadwell is renowned for producing some exhilarating races and
drama in the R&G Racing Suzuki GSX-R Trophy with tight turns
seeing the late-breakers competing hard and the Mountain benefiting
the brave in what promises to be a thrilling round of racing.
Can Connolly keep up his fine form? Or will we see a twist in
the tale at Cadwell? One thing is for sure we are in for a treat in
round 3.
