TomTom launches hands-free satnav
7 September 2010

Car insurance customers will not find it easier to use their satellite navigation systems as TomTom launches a hands-free innovation.
The brand new Via device is voice-activated and does not require the driver to fiddle with it when behind the wheel.
It is aimed at drivers interested in TomTom's mid-range products and is proof of the company's commitment to providing cutting edge technology at an affordable price.
A 180-degree flip screen and a foldable mount make it easier for motorists to fix it to their vehicles.
Damian Woodward, vice president of sales and marketing at TomTom, said: "From the exciting new voice control and hands-free calling, to the market-leading IQ Routes, it's everything drivers need for a truly effortless driving experience."
TomTom is also launching a Live version of the new device that will allow drivers to receive up-to-date traffic information.
