Jaguar launches sports bursaries

Car insurance customers with a sporty side would be interested to know that the Jaguar Academy is doing its bit to encourage new talent.
The Jaguar Academy of Sport Bursary Awards were handed to 35 promising athletes in order to help their kick-start their sporting careers.
Aged between 14 and 24 years-old, the youngsters were drawn from a wide variety of locations across the UK. They were subjected to gruelling tests conducted by SportsAid, which not only tested their skills but also their commitment to motor sports.
Geoff Cousins, managing director of Jaguar UK, said: "The Jaguar Academy of Sport and the Bursary Fund is a long-term commitment by Jaguar to contribute to the development of the next generation of British sporting talent."
Earlier this month, Jaguar added another feather to its cap when the XJ series picked up the award for the best luxury car at the What Car? Green Awards.
