European driving guide launched

Car insurance customers planning to take a road trip this summer can take advantage of the recently launched European driving guide.
The resource compiles the traffic laws and regulations in practice in European countries and was launched through a partnership with Skoda and the RAC.
It is aimed at helping drivers to familiarise themselves with the dos and don'ts of motoring when they are negotiating traffic on foreign roads.
John Bower, head of aftersales at Skoda UK, said: "Driving abroad should be an enjoyable experience and our aim is to provide travel information to our customers so that they have one less thing to worry about.
"We urge anyone driving abroad this summer to contact their local Skoda retailer and ask about the relevant regulations."
Recently, an online road safety library was launched by Brake in order to make it easier for motorists to access international driving laws as well as keep up-to-date with the latest research aimed at improving safety standards.
