Energy Saving Trust backs low carbon motoring event

Car insurance customers are becoming increasingly aware of their carbon footprints - particularly those who regularly drive long distances.
The ascent of hybrid and electric vehicles is testament to the green attitude that many motorists are adopting.
Car insurance customers are making the move toward environmentally-friendly motoring for two reasons, the first is to reduce the impact their activities have on the environment and the second is the potential financial savings that can be made.
And it is the latter reason that has sparked the EV & Low CO2 Fleet Show, which brings together industry experts to discuss the future of low-carbon motoring.
This year's event has been backed by the Energy Saving Trust and hopes to further promote the move to a low-carbon economy in the UK.
However, the show won't just be about electric cars, with Ross Durkin, managing director of Fleet World, claiming: "We also have to acknowledge that EVs aren't right for everyone at this point in time and visitors to the show will also be able to get up-to-date information on all the other technologies currently available."
