Youngsters to get motorbike safety classes
25 March 2010

Teens and young adults in Plymouth could end up taking advantage
of reduced motorcycle insurance
premiums after learning how to be safer on the road.
The Budshead Trust has been working with 16-year-old Jack Clayton
and Michael Webb, 17, to launch a scheme which will see the police
and Ernesettle motocross expert Dave Shears learn how to ride the
vehicles properly.
According to the Herald, the initiative will help keep young
people on motorcycles out of trouble by teaching them the skills to
stay safe, while also allowing them to interact with other young
bike fans.
Ronnie Small, manager of the Budshead Trust, told the newspaper:
"We don't reward bad behaviour. If any of the young people
misbehave we suspend them, but we do reward them if they are
trying."
Motorcycle insurance customers were
recently offered a brand new three-year service plan for Honda's
VFR1200F, following impressive sales in the first two weeks of the
bike's launch.
