Thousands attend Barton Bike Night

Barton Bike Night has been hailed as a success by its organisers after the annual Lincolnshire event attracted thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts from across the county.
Chairman Barrie Newton told This Is Scunthorpe well over 10,000 people took part in the event, which is the biggest of its kind in the north of England.
"It was a great success and I would like to thank everybody involved, [including] the volunteers and people who helped," he added.
The damp weather failed to prevent people from enjoying the various stalls and biking exhibitions on show, the organising committee chief added.
A 100-year-old Torpedo motorbike had pride of place among the vintage bikes, having been manufactured by local firm Elswick Hooper in 2012.
Speaking ahead of the annual celebration, Shaun Barley of Barley's Customs told the Scunthorpe Telegraph the event is a social gathering for the general public as well as a meet-up for bike enthusiasts.
